10 ways you can get and stay healthy. We all want to get healthier but many of us have no idea where to start. Some of us are looking for new ideas. As we come up to the fall season we will soon find ourselves eating things we know are unhealthy but you have options to help keep healthy year round.

Get more sleep – Yep you need sleep, I need sleep. Who gets sleep? Most of us do not and sleep deprivation can make daily life harder. The average Adult needs 8-8 hours of sleep a night. Most of us get’s much less than that and it takes a toll on our bodies.

Drink more water – The human body needs water to properly function. The body is made up of more than 75% water.

Up your vitamin d intake – Vitamin D is vital for your body to self-heal and regulate. From fighting the common cold to weight loss Vitamin D3 has been connected to your health. With the regular use of sunscreens, we are losing the ability to gather vitamin d on our own.

Cut out the sugar – Swap sugar and artificial sweeteners for healthy natural options like honey, stevia, and maple syrup.

Cut out food dyes –  Artificial food dyes are greeted with petroleum oil. The same stuff that powers your car…Let that sink in a bit.

Buy organic – Conventionally grown foods contain harmful chemicals that drag your body down, lower your immune response, and can even lead to cancer.

Eat more produce – Whole, fresh, organic produce contains fiber and antioxidants your body need to keep healthy and run the way it is made too.

Ditch the box – It’s no secret processed foods are bad for you. Chemicals abound with names you can not hope to pronounce. Names created to confuse you into believing the food is healthy. Labels like ALL NATURAL grace packages full of dyes and preservatives. HFCs have been relabeled fructose and boxes are plastered with NO HFCs when the only change was a name on the label.

Try essential oils – Essential oils are more than a new fad. They have existed since biblical times and have been proven to heal and protect our bodies.

Use Apple Cider Vinegar – Apple Cider Vinegar is an amazing natural healer. From acne to ulcers the health uses are endless.
