When The Schoolhouse Review Crew asked us to test out the Daily Bible Jigsaw app from Planet 316 I thought it would be a good fit for my kids. They love their kid puzzle apps. Puzzles are really big with my three-year-old.

First, we tried it on the phone wich did not work out so great for little hands. The puzzles are a little crowded for a small screen. They worked much better on the laptop as a Facebook game.
You can compete for the best time with you facebook friends which gave the older kids a push to try and be faster at the puzzles.
Sadly they limit you to one puzzle a day without using coins. For the average person that would be just fine but for a household with 4 kids fighting to play coins disappear really really fast. This is a great way to end up spending a lot of money in very little time on a free app. It does beat having a bunch of ads for your kids to click though so it is a trade-off. You can get 500 coins for just under $40. You earn coins in the game by finding a connection for the super puzzle piece in each puzzle before the timer goes off but my kids would not even notice the timer in the first place.

Is Daily Bible Jigsaw a Kids app?
This app is a better fit for adults than kids because the puzzle space can get crowded and child a get frustrated with it and end up using the tools to sweep it off the mat only to discover they can not rally see the pieces. They do have several built in helps like connecting the edge pieces making it better for young kids but yet again these tools use coins.
