It’s hard to believe yesterday marks six weeks since I had Little Lamb and now it is time to get my rear in gear again. I can tell you I used to bounce back a whole lot easier and this time I spent the past few weeks wondering how I am in this bad of shape. I weighed in with my sister this past weekend and this time I have a big 72 pounds to drop between Little Lamb and the weight I gained while recovering from the last loss. I only lost 20 pounds between the two. Now is time to get into shape after baby… again and I have a plan.
My plan to get in shape after baby again
Breastfeeding is a great way to burn extra calories. I will be raising the amount of pumping I do to produce more milk and burn more calories. I need that extra milk for when others help with baby anyways so it is a win-win situation.
Digging out the running shoes. Ok not really digging them out but getting a new pair is on my shopping list. I need to find time to get more exercise in and the house is packed with stairs and a big yard I can get some jogging done before I am brave enough to hit the road again.
Working in the yard and doing much of our remodels myself will give me plenty of time working out while being productive. Oh, am so happy to get back into doing something physical seeing I work on a computer.
Yoga with the kids is a great way I can tone up again and play with the kids. We have these really cool yoga cards that will make it fun to do with the kids.
Nutrition is important and breastfeeding takes a lot out of me so I am continuing with my prenatal vitamins and adding back in my protein shakes as much as I dread drinking them I know they are a great way to get my body what it needs to improve my health.
