One of the best tools we have ever had for our homeschool is a Kindle… or 4. From teaching picky kids to write to unlimited books to feed the imagination, enlighten the mind, and entertain on rainy days the kids is one of the best investments we have made. If you have a kindle here is a huge list of tools to take advantage of for your homeschool.
Apps on Kindle for Homeschool
DragonBox is one of our favorite Kindle apps for homeschool… Well some of our favorite. DragonBox has three apps. Algebra 5+ and Algebra 12+ which teach kids basic algebra skills without them even knowing while they play. By exposing them to algebra now you save yourself a lot of heartache later. The last is DragonBox Elements which teaches children geometry.
Tracing ABC is top on our list of fun apps for preschoolers. It really helps to get young reluctant writers to practice and they don’t even know it. This helps your kids by well Tracing ABCs, numbers, and shapes.
Starfall Learn to Read is a great app with all of your favorite starfall games that work on your kindle for homeschool.
SpellingCity. The free Spelling City app makes learning to spell fun for kids.

Kindle is a limitless supply of books for education and pleasure at your fingertips. The Kindle Unlimited subscription allows you to read as much as you want all month-long.

Amazon Video Streaming on Kindle for Homeschooling
Amazon video streaming is a great asset to your homeschool. On your Kindle or nearly any other device your child can watch endless hours of documentaries, educational programs, and great teaching tools like Signing Time.
At the price, the Kindle is a marvelous solution. Some of the models are less than $100!
I’ll look for some of these apps. Even though we do not homeschool, I’d love to help my kids get ahead 🙂
