We jumped into the At the Pond theme from Mother Goose Time beacuse we got a random burst of spring and anyone that knows Michigan knows that next month may very well be packed with snow so lets get outside with school while we can. I love that we can swap between themes as fitting our needs. The freedowm of Homeschooling is just Amazing. We took this Rainbow Skewers snack idea fromt he St. Patricks Day Celibration Kit.

Make your own Rainbow Fruit Skewers Snack
Wash, slice, and dice fruit as needed. As you can see we opted to keep big peices beacuse well I like easy and my kids are not used to having everythign cut up for them.
Have each child add slices of fruit to the skewers creating a rainbow.
After creating your Rainbow Fruit Skewers you an dip them into a cloud of whiped cream. We skiped this part beacuse the kids where never taught to add things like whiped cream to fuit or dressings to veggies to enjoy them.
The fun in this snack is the making of so that is all you really need.
Mother Goose Time sent all kinds of fun idea in the celibration kit from included crafts and games with everything you need to sensory bins and a game of HOT Potato (potato not included) Come jump into spring and get started with At the Pond with us for all kinds of fun.
