There’s a Cow in my House by Brian Steckler

We are so loving the addition of puzzles for each book in this year’s Mother Goose Time curriculum. The kids do too. It gives something for little hands to do while my oldest or I read the book aloud to the children. The October book was There’s a Cow in My House by Brian Steckler.

There’s a Cow in my House

There’s a Cow in my House is a great book for preschoolers and kindergarten kids. Short easy to read pages, with plenty or repetition,  puts this short book into the easier reader category. The cute story includes a fun song at the end for your family to enjoy.

Want the book? You can get that on Amazon but, if you want the puzzle you have to order the October box from Mother Goose Time before they run out.

Talk about it

Talking about books helps your child develop reading comprehension.

  • Why do you think there is a cow in the boy’s house?
  • What would you do if a cow wanted a nap in your bed?
  • Do you think the cow will be back in the morning?
