I cut them apart seeing I used Hawaiian rolls to make these even easier to make in bulk and simply stacked them up in piles of each flavor on a large cutting board. You can also serve them on a charger or serving plate all piled up. On the side, we served some finger foods like fresh veggies and some simple french fries I made extra crispy in the air fryer. How to make thick cheddar melt easier The hardest part of making these sliders is that the cheese really does not like to melt. After a few batches that it took to make enough for the whole family, I had discovered the trick to these. Make sure your cheese is at room temperature before assembling your sandwiches. Not only is this easier to cute but the cheese melts much easier. If you do not have the patience for this you can save some time by using shredded cheddar cheese or opting to crumble your block so the heat is more evenly distributed. How to make these Turkey and Cheese Sliders Making these turkey and cheese sliders is extremely easy. We used turkey breast roasts that had been cooking in the slow cooker all day waiting for dinner time with Hawaiian sweet rolls to make it extremely easy. What you need: :: 1 Pack Hawaiian Sweet Rolls :: 1 Pound turkey meat :: 1/2 pound cheddar cheese :: 1 stick Butter :: 1/2 teaspoon Italian seasoning :: 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder :: Pinch red pepper flakes Directions Start by cutting your rolls in half. The great thing about Hawaiian rolls is that you can easily cut the entire sheet in half setting the tops to the side to place back down in a single sheet. Layer on your turkey and cheese. Mix together melted butter, Italian seasoning, garlic powder, and a pinch of red pepper flakes and drizzle over the top. You can use a brush to help ensure an even coating of the top and let the butter mixture seak between the rolls to give your sliders more flavor. Place in the oven or air fryer at 350 degrees for 3-5 minutes until the tops have toasted and the cheese has melted. What to do with leftover sliders Sliders tend to disappear fast and tend to not have leftovers but if you have some leftovers or you simply need to store them premade before your game day party you can make these ahead and then reheat them in bulk in the microwave for a minute or two when you are ready. I prefer to store these wrapped in parchment paper as it slows down the drying process but doesn't encourage them to get soggy either. You can always choose to assemble these ahead of time, then add the butter topping and bake to warm them when you are ready to serve.
