Valentines Glitter Play Dough
With Valentine’s Day coming up I am planning some fun stuff for the kids to do. I whipped this up to put in the February Sensory box ready to go with some new cookie cutters and such. This box is perfect for pulling out busy bag like activities for the kids when they get bored and I need to get things done. This Valentines glitter play dough will make the kids ooo and ah much like the January Winter Wonderland dough did.
Make your own Valentines Glitter Play Dough
I love homemade play doughs for the kids. They save me so much money and I don’t feel like I wasted money when the kids mix them all together in a brown blob. We can get into fun stuff like adding glitter and other fun touches. For this one you just need the usual basics and a tube of red or pink glitter.
Our favorite go to no-cook play dough recipe
- 1 cup flour
- 1/4 cup salt
- 1/4 cup oil
- 1/3 cup water
- 1 tablespoon aluminum free cream of tarter
- 1 small tube of red or pink glitter
Mix everything together until a smooth doughy texture. Store in an airtight container. Add a few drops of water as it begins to dry out. Store in the refrigerator of an extended storage life.
This is a great one to put together as a gift for your child for Valentines. Add in some cute heart cookie cutters and you have a fun activity. I found a great pack of nesting heart cookie cutters the kids will love.
