About 26 years ago, I was a single mother of 4, scrapping by on my corporal pay at the time. I never let it show to my kids…we made a fun time of those harsh 11 years!! One of the items that I was always having a hard time saving enough for was formula. When the times were extremely lean, I bought a box of dried milk, added warm water and molasses. ..I told my babies that it was a very special blend of goodies…that I had shipped from overseas…just for them!! 🙂
