Bird Puppet Craft
We are learning about animals in our summer school program. Yep, we do summer school. In fact, we do more in the summer than the rest of the year. Something about warm days for outdoor romping and cool stormy for book work. Learning is so much more fun when you can take it outside. Lucky us the Mother Goose Time curriculum we use with the children has boxes available all year long. For the June box, we received it is all about animals. You can see what the upcoming themes are ahead of time. A Whole year ahead of time in fact so, I have been saving days that fit to stretch the theme through the summer. We started last week and we have had a ball.
This is a super easy Bird Puppet Craft

Make your own bird puppets:

- Glue on craft stick.
- Let dry and play.
We used ours to spend time talking about the parts of a bird, how feathers feel and how they help a bird fly. We had so much fun creating little stories with our puppets and building them their own bird nests from things nature had to offer. Build a nest for your bird puppet.
