DIY Peeps Slime

Something about Easter and Peeps just go together. When it comes to Peeps you either love them or hate them. Personally, they give me a tummy ache but the children love them and these are a fun way to use them. While I really love this natural Peeps soap I also love pretty much anything sensory. This edible Peeps slime was a hit with the kids. Even the 10 months old was squealing and smiles as she mushed, stretched, and tasted this simple sensory slime.

DIY Peeps Slime

This Peeps Slime can be squished, mushed, stretchered, and molded and when the kids are tired of it they can munch it for a snack. It is sticky, delicious, and fun if you ask my kids what they thought about it. This recipe makes the firmest version of the slime we made that sticks a little bit less.

What you need:

1 – 2.5 oz package of Peeps

1 tablespoon oil

3 tablespoons cornstarch plus a bit for dusting

Place the peeps in a microwave-safe bowl. Tall sides work best because the peeps will really puff up.

Microwave for 30 seconds.

Pour in oil and cornstarch into the bowl and mix well until a thick slime forms.

Dust hands in cornstarch and knead adding a bit more until the slime is no longer sticking to your hands.
