Popcorn Shrimp Recipe

Shrimp is one of those things I canā€™t stand that my husband and son love. So on occasion I grab some to whip up. On this particular day, I was frying chicken something I do not do often but, we all love when I do. I grabbed out a bag of small shrimp from the freezer and fried them up in the leftover batter. The end result? Our own batch of popcorn shrimp or as I call them Shrimp Poppers. This is our favorite popcorn shrimp recipe.

This popcorn shrimp is perfect for serving at a party or for snacking around the house. Here friend chicken is what we often do on holidays. When I make popcorn scrimp with it you will find my husband vegging out on your couch playing video games with a big bowl of these little suckers. I opt to use shortening like Crisco for shallow frying for a nice crispy texture. When using the deep fryer I go ahead and use the frying oil already in it.

There really is no need for waste when you make these which is really cool.
