Sinful Sausage and Potatoes Cast Iron Skillet Dinner

There’s something about butter soaked potatoes. I refer to them as sinful because well we all know that feeling when you bite into a truly delicious food and your eyes roll back. These potatoes do just that.

Add the incense flavor or onions, peppers, and smoked sausage and everything is just magical in this sinful sausage and potatoes cast iron skillet dinner.

I love my giant 12-inch cast-iron skillet and I can fit enough to feed our large family into one pan. This is particularly useful if you need to make your life a bit easier. Like adjusting to having a new baby, starting your own business or any number of life’s challenges.

Skillet dinners like my Cast-iron Skillet Fajitas make my life easier because let’s face it feeding a large family is not the easiest thing I have ever done.

While this recipe can feed a crew and is perfect for large families or get-togethers with friends you can easily halve it for the average-sized family. The advantage of cast iron is that you can cook this dish outside if you want to feed your family without heating your home on a hot summer day.
