Soothing Lavender Bath Salt

We all need a little pampering here and there right? One of my favorite ways to relax after a long day is a nice hot bath filled with bath salt. This soothing lavender bath salt is great for when your skin needs a bit of healing or to help you drift off to sleep at night.

This soothing lavender bath salt is simple to make.

Mix 1 tablespoon coconut oil with 10 drops lavender essential oil.

Add oil mix to 1 cup Epsom salt. Shake well.

This is one option we use along with the Sleeping Beuty bath salts to help my ADHD child get a restful nights sleep after a long and energetic day.  The soothing magnesium in the Epsom salt is so great for relaxing and detoxifying the body and should be a regular part of your day. Don’t have a bath tub? This makes a great body scrub giving you all of the benefits even in the shower.
