DIY Makeup Brush Cleaning Mat
We have been having fun around here making some of our own things for less than buying. So much so we made a list of over 100 things to stop buying and start making. This was a fun and easy project that made the perfect gift for my makeup obsessed sister. This homemade makeup brush cleaning mat is easy to make and can even be done with stuff you already have running around the house. Pair it with our DIY makeup brush cleaning solution and you are ready to go.
Make your own makeup brush cleaning mat
What you need:
- 1 plastic mini clipboard
- hot glue gun
- about 3 sticks of hot glue
- scissors
What to do:
Clean and dry your clipboard to remove dust allowing the glue to stick better.
Draw dots, lines, squiggles and even shapes and letters with your hot glue gun.
Cut off loose strings of glue and trim and dots that stick out too much.
Use this DIY makeup brush mat to help give your makeup brushes a good deep cleaning once a month. You can even use this to clean paintbrushes for art.
