Easy Caramel Apple Bites

I am dying for fall to get here. Not just because I am hugely pregnant and not fed up with the heat. This pregnant mama is dying for all the fun fall treats. Apple everything sounds amazing right now and they are predicting a bumper crop of apples this year. Thank goodness because the apples in stock are turning to mush. For now, I am enjoying the apple recipes I can use apple sauce from the pantry in. These Easy Caramel Apple Bites are perfect the perfect chilled snack that doesn’t require the oven.

Like my Apple Pie fries, apple sauce gives these the apple flavor. If you want another no-bake apple treat try this easy no-bake caramel apple cheesecake on for size.  No matter what find treats you whip up the apples this fall are going to make an amazing addition to your culinary adventures.

These caramel apple bites have an edible cookie dough texture sure to please even picky eaters or satisfy random snacky urges. The kids love them and if the weather is hot when you whip these up they are super tasty as a frozen treat.

Make these easy caramel apple bites

Melt butter.

Mix butter, apple sauce, and cake mix together until you have a stiff dough.

Work and blend until the dough holds together well.

Roll into 1 inch balls.

Dip into the cinnamon coating. For a bit sweeter option mix sugar into the cinnamon.

Refrigerate 2 hours or until firm before serving.
