This post is an old one that has been sitting around in my drafts for a long time. I distinctly remember the day I made this golden honey cornbread and took these pictures with my easy 3 bean chili. My grandmother was alive still on that cold wither day and fairly lucid despite her dementia. She was amazed with the flavor and texture and even more amazing that I could make it without a box. This brings back that memory of ger happily sitting at the table for dinner with the children and me. May this recipe bring warm memories from my family to yours.
